Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program provides teenagers and young adults with the foundation and skills needed for safe and successful babysitting. The CABS program teaches how to start a babysitting business, interact with parents and children alike, and provides important safety and first aid information using the latest guidelines.

  • This is a certification class, valid for two (2) years from month of issue

  • CABS certification is not a substitute for pediatric CPR, AED, or first aid training. HSTC recommends these certifications be sought separately

Intended Audience:

  • Teens and young adults that are interested in starting a babysitting business, or have a responsibility to care for younger family members.
