The goal of this lesson is to provide awareness level training for all employees about the existence of hazardous energy sources; the isolation of those energy sources during certain maintenance and repair activities; and the communication and control procedures that limit access to those energy sources through the use of tags and locks..

 

No in-person skills evaluation is required for this course. It is presented as online-only and distributed as a blended course. Upon successful completion of the online course, a Certificate of Online Training will be issued. The course is one credit per individual.

  • Once purchase is completed, a representative of HSTC will contact you at the information provided during the checkout process to confirm names, and emails of course participants. Each course must be digitally delivered to course participants via HSTC. Each course is valid for one certification, per student.

    *If purchasing multiple quantities of courses for multiple students, please include a list of names and emails during the checkout process. HSTC will still contact the purchaser to verify the accuracy of these details, as the names will appear, as written, on certifications.

  • Each course is individually licensed, with the end-users name and details used to produce the certification. For this reason, we cannot offer refunds once the course has been issued by HSTC (Hot Springs Training and Consulting) to the end-user. 

    For this reason, prior to issuance of the course a representative of HSTC will contact the purchaser to confirm details via email. After confirmation of these details, refunds can no longer be issued. 

    At its sole discretion, HSTC may be able to accomodate a refund after this period, if the course has not been started. Any instance of this will be at the discretion of HSTC and be subject to a mandatory re-licensing fee of $17.50 per course
