General Information
It is both a sad and unfortunate fact that Active Violence events continue to rise, necessitating the need for Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT).
AVERT is the only training class that teaches Active Violence response training, coupled with situational awareness, and pairs it with Emergency Medical Response training. Empowering people to not only stay safe, but also to save lives during an emergency event
Intended Audience:
-
Companies, organizations, groups, institutions, public facilities, offices, schools, and places of worship that seek to train their employees, and members how to respond to an active violence emergency
-
Individuals who through occupational, recreational or volunteer activities could find themselves at an increased threat of an active violence event
Due to the nature of AVERT training, it is highly recommended that where possible, these classes be taught on-site, so that individuals, members, employees, and volunteers are able to relate the scenarios to familiar surroundings
